“There is no pain so great as the memory of joy in present grief.” – Aeschylus

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I report the passing of our dog Lucy;  she was strong and fought the battle against her disease as hard as she could but was not able to remain in this world with us.  She passed on March 15, 2020 at noon, on a beautiful Sunday morning.  She was surrounded by her human family, Mark & Michelle, who gave her all the love and kindness they could find within them, right up to the end.

I could not muster the strength to write this until now, some 6 days later.  It is still very difficult to see through the tears, but it helps to tell others that she was the best dog, and she will be sorely missed and never forgotten.

To my Goose – may you find fair winds and following seas on your journey into the West…  Goodbye my very special companion.
